You’re Never Too Old For Crafts
I have always seen myself as a fairly creative person. As a child I loved colouring and crafting to my hearts content, pretending my kitchen was a stage and my family my loyal fans was one of my favourite pass times. There is a somewhat crazy notion that once you get older those things that once brought so much joy should be tossed aside, because you are “adulting” now.
Imagine my excitement when I met Fay, owner of Stamp.Craft.Love and founder of Craft Night Out. We were at a craft show and she had the most beautiful Kate Spade inspired prints, along with super funky and cute cards, as we started talking she was telling me about these craft nights she held at local restaurants – bringing girl’s night out to a whole new level. (Having been to her classes – I can tell you, it is THE.MOST.FUN.EVER!) Craft Night Out is really such a unique way to meet people with similar interests, have a great night out with friends and try a new delicious restaurant.
As 2017 came to a start, Fay and her team stepped up the level of Craft Night Out and started inviting other local crafters an artisans to host their own classes. It was such a thrill and honour when she approached us about hosting our tutu classes with her (we will be hosting an Easter Pastels class this month – click here for tickets). There really is a night dedicated for every interest! Whether it’s card making, jewlery working with gem stones, stenciling mugs (or even tutus) there really is a class and project for everyone – so be sure to gather your tribe and head out for an evening of laughs and creations! You won’t regret it!
